IM-6Z5X is an investigational bispecific antibody candidate developed by ITabMed for the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM). Developed using the company's proprietary iTAb™ (Immune-Targeted Antibody) platform, the molecule is designed as a T-cell engager. It is engineered to simultaneously bind to a tumor-associated antigen expressed on multiple myeloma cells and the CD3 receptor on the surface of T cells. This dual binding mechanism facilitates the recruitment and activation of cytotoxic T cells directly to the malignant plasma cells, leading to targeted tumor cell lysis. As of the current pipeline reports, IM-6Z5X is in the early stages of development for plasma cell dyscrasias.
