IM1240

IM1240 is a preclinical, conditionally-activated tri-specific antibody developed by Purple Biotech. It is designed to engage both T cells and NK cells to mount a strong, localized immune response within the tumor microenvironment. The antibody targets three key molecules: - 5T4 (also known as trophoblast glycoprotein or TPBG), an oncofetal surface protein abnormally expressed in several solid tumors and associated with advanced disease, increased invasiveness, and poor clinical outcomes. - CD3, a component of the T cell receptor complex. - NKG2A, an inhibitory receptor found on NK cells and some T cell subsets. IM1240 incorporates cleavable capping technology that restricts its activity to the tumor microenvironment (TME), potentially improving safety and efficacy by minimizing off-tumor effects. The platform aims to unleash both innate (NK cell) and adaptive (T cell) immune responses against cancer cells through simultaneous engagement of these targets.
