Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IM21 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy developed by Imunopharm Technology for the treatment of relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma. It consists of T cells engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on myeloma cells, enabling specific recognition and lysis of BCMA-expressing tumor cells. Administered via parenteral infusion following leukapheresis and manufacturing, it is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials, including studies for elderly patients and those with measurable disease after at least three prior lines of therapy.[1][2][3]
