IM96 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting Guanylate Cyclase 2C (GUCY2C), developed by Beijing Yimiao Medical Technology. It is currently under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) in patients who have progressed after standard therapies. GUCY2C is a membrane-bound cyclase normally restricted to the apical surface of intestinal epithelium but is highly expressed in the majority of primary and metastatic colorectal tumors. By engineering T cells to express a CAR specific for GUCY2C, IM96 aims to selectively target and eliminate malignant cells while minimizing systemic toxicity. The drug is administered as a single intravenous infusion following lymphodepleting chemotherapy.
