IMA203CD4 is an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy developed by Immatics. It is specifically designed to utilize CD4+ T cells that have been engineered to express a TCR targeting a peptide derived from the PRAME (Preferentially expressed Antigen in Melanoma) protein, presented by HLA-A*02:01. While many TCR-T therapies focus on CD8+ cytotoxic T cells, IMA203CD4 aims to leverage the helper and direct cytotoxic functions of CD4+ T cells to enhance the anti-tumor response and improve durability in patients with PRAME-expressing solid tumors. This candidate is part of Immatics' ACTengine platform and is being evaluated in clinical trials for various solid cancers.
