Overview

IMA204 is an autologous **T cell receptor engineered T cell therapy** from Immatics that uses the company's ACTengine platform to redirect patient T cells against an HLA-A*02-associated peptide derived from **COL6A3 exon 6**. The product is designed for solid tumors with a collagen type VI alpha 3 chain stromal target that is highly expressed in the tumor microenvironment across multiple cancers, and it incorporates an affinity-enhanced, next-generation **CD8-independent** TCR intended to function in both CD4-positive and CD8-positive T cells. IMA204 has been described for treatment of solid tumors including pancreatic, breast, gastric, esophageal, colorectal, and ovarian cancers, as well as mesothelioma, sarcoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma; however, despite earlier plans for IND submission, the program has remained in preclinical development and appears to have been deprioritized in favor of other Immatics programs.
