Overview

IMA901 + sargramostim + cyclophosphamide + sunitinib is a multi-agent investigational regimen evaluated primarily in advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma. IMA901 is a therapeutic peptide vaccine consisting of nine HLA class I-binding and one HLA class II-binding tumor-associated peptides (TUMAPs), designed to stimulate tumor-specific T cell immune responses. Sargramostim (also known as GM-CSF) is used as an immunostimulatory adjuvant to enhance dendritic cell activation and T-cell priming. Cyclophosphamide is included as a single low-dose infusion before vaccination to selectively deplete regulatory T cells (Tregs), which may otherwise suppress anti-tumor immune responses. Sunitinib is a multi-targeted small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor with both anti-angiogenic and direct anti-tumor effects, and it also has immune modulatory properties. The overall regimen is designed to enhance tumor antigen-specific immunity, counteract tumor-induced immune suppression, and inhibit angiogenesis in renal cell carcinoma and potentially other malignancies[1][4][7][8].
