Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMC-004 is a monoclonal antibody developed as a blocking antibody against ∆42PD1, a unique isoform of the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). It is being developed by Immuno Cure Biotech and Shenzhen Immuno Cure Biomedical for potential therapeutic effects in inflammatory-related diseases, including cancers. Preclinical studies are ongoing to optimize the drug candidate and evaluate its efficacy in liver cancer and colorectal cancer animal models. The mechanism of action involves inhibition of ∆42PD1-mediated immune suppression, which may enhance anti-tumor immune responses[2][5].
