Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMC-015 (also known as IMM9101) is a bispecific antibody being developed by ImmuneCare, a subsidiary of ImmuneOnco Biopharmaceuticals, for the treatment of obesity and metabolic disorders. It is designed with a differentiated 'fat-loss and muscle-gain' strategy, specifically positioned to address the muscle loss often associated with GLP-1 receptor agonist therapies. The drug targets both Growth Differentiation Factor 8 (GDF8, also known as myostatin) and the Activin receptor type II (ActRII). By dual inhibition of these pathways, IMC-015 aims to promote skeletal muscle growth while simultaneously facilitating fat loss. As of early 2026, the candidate is in the IND-enabling stage of development.
