Overview

IMC-3253 is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by ImmuneCyte Life Sciences for the treatment of multiple myeloma. As a cell-based immunotherapy, it involves the genetic modification of a patient's T cells to express a receptor that targets specific antigens found on the surface of myeloma cells. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered cells are intended to recognize and eliminate malignant plasma cells. The program is currently in the preclinical or pilot stage of development, utilizing ImmuneCyte's cell therapy platform to address the needs of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
