IMC-4023 is an autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy being developed by ImmuneCyte Life Sciences for the treatment of melanoma. The therapy is based on the company's AutoTIL platform, which involves the isolation of naturally occurring T cells from a patient's own tumor tissue. These cells are then expanded ex vivo to generate a large population of tumor-reactive lymphocytes, which are subsequently re-infused into the patient following a lymphodepletion regimen. This approach aims to leverage the polyclonal nature of TILs to target a broad range of tumor-associated antigens, potentially overcoming tumor heterogeneity and providing a durable anti-tumor response. As of 2024, IMC-4023 is in the preclinical or pilot phase of development.
