Overview

IMC-T119C is a first-in-class bispecific recombinant soluble T cell engager therapy developed by Immunocore. It is designed to target a PRAME peptide presented by the HLA-A24 subtype (PRAME HLA-A24), which is an HLA-type present in approximately 60% of people in Japan and 15-20% of Western populations. The drug belongs to the ImmTAC (Immune mobilizing monoclonal TCRs Against Cancer) platform and functions as a bispecific antibody that redirects T cells to kill tumor cells expressing PRAME in the context of HLA-A24. Its mechanism involves engaging CD3 on T lymphocytes and targeting PRAME-expressing tumor cells, leading to immunologic cytotoxicity through T cell activation. The primary indication under development is for multiple solid tumors[1][4][5][6].
