Overview

IMCY-0141 is a synthetic peptide therapy based on myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG), a dominant autoantigen implicated in multiple sclerosis (MS). Developed as part of the Imotope platform, IMCY-0141 is designed to halt the progression of MS by specifically targeting and interrupting the autoimmune response that leads to destruction of the myelin sheath protecting nerves. The drug works by stimulating antigen-specific cytolytic CD4 T cells, which selectively eliminate pathogenic immune cells attacking MOG, while sparing the rest of the immune system. This approach aims to reset immune tolerance and induce long-lasting immunological memory, potentially reducing disease activity with less frequent dosing. IMCY-0141 is being developed for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis and has shown promising results in preclinical models and early clinical trials[1][2][5][6][7][8].
