Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMD-2101 is a tumor-microenvironment-activated antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2), developed by Affinity Biopharmaceutical. The therapeutic is designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload specifically to HER2-expressing tumor cells. By utilizing a linker that is selectively cleaved within the tumor microenvironment, IMD-2101 aims to enhance the therapeutic index by reducing systemic exposure to the toxin and minimizing off-target effects. It is currently in Phase 1 development for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors.
