Overview

IMD-2109 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Shanghai Affinity Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed as an immune-stimulating antibody conjugate (ISAC) that targets Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) to deliver a payload consisting of Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) and Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) agonists directly to the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting the PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint and simultaneously activating innate immune pathways via TLR7/8, IMD-2109 aims to enhance the anti-tumor immune response and potentially overcome resistance to standard checkpoint inhibitors. The drug is currently in early-stage clinical development for various solid tumors.
