IMD-605

IMD-605 is a bispecific antibody biologic being developed by Affinity Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed to function as a T-cell engager by simultaneously targeting Guanylyl Cyclase C (GCC) on the surface of tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual binding mechanism redirects T-cell mediated cytotoxicity specifically toward GCC-expressing cancer cells. GCC is a transmembrane cell surface receptor that is frequently overexpressed in gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal cancer, making it a promising target for site-specific immunotherapy. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
