Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMD1828 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to target Claudin 6 (CLDN6), a tight junction protein that is highly expressed in various solid tumors—including ovarian, endometrial, and germ cell cancers—while remaining largely absent in healthy adult tissues. Developed by Shanghai Yingmaide Medical Technology, IMD1828 consists of a humanized anti-CLDN6 monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. The agent is designed to selectively deliver the cytotoxic agent to CLDN6-positive tumor cells, inducing cell death while minimizing systemic toxicity. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials for the treatment of unresectable locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including those with or without high Claudin 6 expression.
