Overview

IME0001 (formerly GS-2730) is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of diacylglycerol kinase zeta (DGKζ), a key regulator of diacylglycerol (DAG) signaling in immune cells. By inhibiting DGKζ, the drug enhances DAG-mediated signaling, which can modulate T-cell activation and function. Originally developed by Gilead Sciences and licensed to IMIDomics in 2024, IME0001 is being developed for the treatment of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), with a primary focus on Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). It is currently in clinical development, having completed initial Phase 1 safety and tolerability studies under Gilead before transitioning to IMIDomics for further clinical evaluation.
