Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMG-008 is a novel, long-acting humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the interleukin 36 receptor (IL-36R). Developed using Inmagene’s proprietary QuadraTek platform, it is engineered for an extended half-life and enhanced exposure compared to existing IL-36R antagonists. By potently blocking IL-36 signaling, IMG-008 reduces cytokine release and inflammatory responses associated with autoinflammatory diseases. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that it has over four times longer half-life and more than double the exposure of a spesolimab analog while maintaining similar IL-36R blocking activity. The drug is being developed primarily for generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP) and hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), with potential application in other autoinflammatory keratinization diseases[1][2][3][4][5][7].
