IMGS-203 is a potent small-molecule agonist of the stimulator of interferon genes (STING) pathway being developed by ImmunoGenesis as an intratumoral and potentially systemically active immunotherapy for solid tumors. By strongly activating STING in the tumor microenvironment, IMGS-203 induces type I interferons and other inflammatory cytokines, enhances dendritic cell activation and T‑cell priming, promotes T‑cell infiltration, and reprograms the tumor microenvironment toward an inflamed, anti-tumor phenotype.[10][16] Preclinical work has shown that IMGS-203 (also referred to as 8803) can synergize with checkpoint blockade, including dual PD‑L1/PD‑L2 inhibition, by upregulating PD‑L1 on tumor endothelium and improving immune effector access to tumors.[16]
