IMGX-102

IMGX-102 is a bispecific nanobody therapeutic candidate currently in preclinical development by IMGENEX for the treatment of oral cancer. The molecule is engineered to simultaneously target and neutralize Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) and the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). By dual-targeting these pathways, IMGX-102 is intended to inhibit VEGF-driven angiogenesis and EGFR-mediated tumor cell proliferation and survival signaling. This combinatorial approach aims to overcome resistance mechanisms often associated with single-agent therapies in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas, including oral cancer. As of 2024, the program is listed in the sponsor's therapeutics pipeline at the preclinical stage.
