Overview

Imigliptin is a novel small molecule dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor developed by Sihuan Group and Xuanzhu Pharma. It is being investigated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, where it aims to improve insulin resistance and beta-cell function by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its potent and selective DPP-4 inhibition with good tolerance.
