Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Iminodyn-22** is a potent, cell-permeable small molecule inhibitor of dynamin I and II, targeting the GTPase Allosteric Site (GAS) domain with IC50 values of 450 nM for dynamin I and 390 nM for dynamin II. It exhibits uncompetitive inhibition with respect to GTP, effectively blocking receptor-mediated endocytosis in cells while inhibiting enzymatic GTPase activity. Developed from the iminochromene chemical series as part of the Iminodyn™ toolbox, it serves as a research tool for studying dynamin-dependent processes such as clathrin-mediated endocytosis, phagosome scission, F-actin assembly, and viral entry, and is sold under exclusive license from Children’s Medical Research Institute and Newcastle Innovation Ltd.[1][7][12][14]
