IMJ995 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy developed by Novartis for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). It consists of a population of human T cells genetically modified using a replication-incompetent lentiviral vector to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) that target both CD19 and CD22 surface proteins on malignant B cells. Upon administration, these engineered T cells specifically recognize and destroy malignant B cells expressing CD19 and/or CD22. The product is administered intravenously and is currently in early clinical development, with its highest phase being Phase 1 trials for ALL.
