Overview

IMM-101 + ipilimumab is a combination immunotherapy regimen comprising **IMM-101**, a heat-killed whole cell *Mycobacterium obuense* preparation, and **ipilimumab**, a monoclonal antibody targeting CTLA-4. IMM-101 acts as a non-specific immune modulator that is believed to activate dendritic cells and enhance antigen presentation, stimulating a Th1/CTL cytokine response and potentially amplifying anti-tumor immunity. Ipilimumab is a checkpoint inhibitor that blocks cytotoxic T-lymphocyte associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) to increase T-cell activation against tumors. The combination is being investigated principally in **melanoma**, with evidence of synergistic anti-tumor responses and enhanced clinical outcomes over monotherapy in early clinical experiences.
