Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMM01-STEM is a novel investigational biologic therapy developed by Immunis. It is a secretome product derived from partially differentiated pluripotent stem cells and contains regenerative molecules and natural immunomodulators. The therapy is designed to address age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia), muscle atrophy, sarcopenic obesity, abdominal obesity, and knee osteoarthritis. Preclinical studies in aged mouse models have shown that IMM01-STEM increases whole-body lean mass, reduces fat mass, enhances muscle regeneration and function, and improves metabolism without compromising muscle mass. The mechanism of action involves the administration of a stem cell-derived secretome that delivers immune modulators in their natural physiological concentrations to promote tissue regeneration and modulate immune responses[1][3][4][7]. Clinical trials are ongoing with the highest phase being Phase 2 for several indications.
