Overview

IMM040811 is a recombinant humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Beijing ImmuneArk Pharmaceutical. It is designed to simultaneously target programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). By inhibiting PD-L1, the drug aims to restore the anti-tumor activity of T cells by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 immunosuppressive checkpoint. Simultaneously, by neutralizing VEGF, it inhibits tumor angiogenesis, reduces vascular permeability, and potentially normalizes the tumor microenvironment to enhance immune cell infiltration. IMM040811 is primarily being evaluated for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), often in combination with other immunotherapies such as IMM092, an anti-CTLA-4 monoclonal antibody.
