IMM20184

IMM20184 is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Immunome, Inc. as a component of the IMM-BCP-01 therapeutic cocktail for the treatment of COVID-19. Identified through the interrogation of memory B cell repertoires from convalescent patients, IMM20184 targets the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein. Although it binds to an epitope located outside the primary ACE2 binding site, it neutralizes the virus by blocking the Spike protein's interaction with the host ACE2 receptor. The antibody has demonstrated broad-spectrum activity against various SARS-CoV-2 variants, including Delta and Omicron subvariants BA.1 and BA.2. Its development was supported by funding from the U.S. Department of Defense.
