IMM20190 is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Immunome, Inc. as a component of the IMM-BCP-01 therapeutic antibody cocktail for the treatment of COVID-19. Derived from the memory B cells of convalescent patients using Immunome's discovery platform, IMM20190 targets the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein. It specifically binds to a composite epitope within the ACE2 binding site, involving the receptor-binding ridge and an area adjacent to the receptor-binding loop. This binding directly blocks the interaction between the viral Spike protein and the human ACE2 receptor, thereby preventing viral entry into host cells. As part of the IMM-BCP-01 cocktail (which also includes antibodies IMM20184 and IMM20253), IMM20190 has demonstrated broad-spectrum neutralizing activity against multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern, including Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Omicron, in preclinical studies.
