Overview

IMM2510 is a novel bispecific antibody fusion protein that targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). It is designed to block the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway to activate T cells and inhibit VEGF-mediated tumor angiogenesis. The molecule consists of an anti-PD-L1 antibody fused to a VEGF receptor “trap,” enabling it to bind multiple VEGF ligands beyond VEGF-A. This dual targeting approach aims for enhanced anti-tumor activity compared with monotherapy or combination therapy using separate PD-L1 and anti-VEGF antibodies. Additionally, IMM2510 is engineered for enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), potentially improving tumor cell killing. Preclinical studies have shown stronger synergistic anti-tumor effects than either target alone or their combination as separate agents. Clinical trials are ongoing in advanced solid tumors including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), hepatocellular carcinoma, soft tissue sarcoma, colorectal cancer, endometrial carcinoma, melanoma, and ovarian epithelial carcinoma[2][4][7][9].
