IMM27M is a humanized Fc-engineered immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4). It has been genetically engineered to significantly enhance antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), aiming to improve anti-tumor immune responses and promote regulatory T cell (Treg) depletion. Preclinical studies have shown that IMM27M induces stronger anti-tumor activity than ipilimumab at equivalent or lower doses and can result in complete tumor remission in animal models. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and metastatic cancers. Clinical trials have demonstrated preliminary safety and tolerability as monotherapy, with ongoing studies also exploring combination regimens with other immunotherapies such as PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors[1][2][3][5].
