immepip

Immepip is a synthetic small molecule that acts as a potent and selective agonist at the histamine H3 receptor, equipotent to or more active than (R)-α-methylhistamine. It also acts as an agonist at the histamine H4 receptor, though with lower potency. Immepip is widely used in research to study the roles of H3 and H4 histamine receptors, including regulation of neurotransmitter release, sleep/wake cycle, and feeding behaviors. It displays little to no activity at histamine H1 or H2 receptors and is generally used as a pharmacological tool compound for in vitro and in vivo studies. Immepip is not approved for clinical use or marketed for therapeutic indications.
