IMMUNEPOTENT CRP is a bovine dialyzable leukocyte extract (bDLE) derived from bovine spleens, containing a complex mixture of low-molecular-weight substances including transfer factors. It functions as an unspecific active immunotherapy and immunomodulator with both antitumor and pro-regenerative properties. In oncology, it induces immunogenic cell death (ICD) by triggering endoplasmic reticulum calcium release via IP3 and ryanodine receptors, leading to reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and mitochondrial damage, often bypassing traditional caspase-dependent apoptotic pathways. It has been evaluated in Phase I clinical trials as an adjuvant to chemotherapy (such as cisplatin) in non-small cell lung cancer to enhance efficacy and mitigate myelosuppression. Additionally, recent research has explored exosomes derived from IMMUNEPOTENT CRP for accelerating diabetic wound healing through the modulation of the PI3K-AKT pathway and inflammatory cytokine profiles.
