Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Immuno-plasma membrane inhibitor is a bispecific antibody being developed by Voro Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It is engineered using the company's proprietary PrimeBody™ platform, which creates tumor-activated therapies designed to improve the therapeutic index of potent immune-modulators. The drug's mechanism of action involves inhibiting tumor cell 'masking' mechanisms by targeting novel plasma membrane components that contribute to immune evasion. By unmasking these cells, the antibody aims to restore or enhance the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate tumor cells. The program is currently in the Discovery/IND-enabling phase.
