Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ImmunoSEB is a proprietary systemic enzyme complex developed by Specialty Enzymes & Probiotics, designed to support immune health and modulate inflammatory responses. The formulation consists of a synergistic blend of proteolytic and non-proteolytic enzymes, including bromelain, papain, peptidase, amylase, and lipase. Its primary mechanism of action involves the systemic absorption of these enzymes, which then act to degrade pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6 and TNF-alpha) and clear circulating immune complexes and cellular debris. This biocatalytic approach aims to prevent or mitigate excessive inflammatory states, such as the cytokine storm associated with viral infections. ImmunoSEB has been clinically evaluated, often in combination with probiotics like ProbioSEB CSC3, for its efficacy in reducing fatigue and promoting recovery in patients with COVID-19 and post-viral syndromes.
