Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMN-006 is an investigational autologous CAR-T cell therapy targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), developed by Immuneel Therapeutics. It is designed as a BCMA inhibitor for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, particularly multiple myeloma. The drug works by engineering a patient's own T cells to express a chimeric antigen receptor that recognizes and binds to BCMA, leading to targeted destruction of malignant plasma cells expressing this antigen. As of December 2024, IMN-006 is in Phase 1/2 clinical development for multiple myeloma and other hematologic neoplasms[1][4][5].
