Overview

IMNN-101 is an investigational DNA plasmid vaccine developed using Imunon's proprietary PlaCCine platform. It is designed to protect against COVID-19, specifically targeting the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron XBB1.5 variant. The vaccine utilizes a synthetic, non-viral DNA delivery system that encodes key pathogen antigens, enabling the body to produce a robust and durable immune response. In Phase 1 clinical trials, IMNN-101 demonstrated strong immunogenicity with a 2–4 fold increase in neutralizing antibody titers from baseline through Week 4 and up to a 3-fold median increase at six months post-vaccination. The vaccine also showed cross-reactivity against multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants and was well-tolerated with no serious adverse events reported. A notable advantage of IMNN-101 is its stability—remaining viable for up to one year at 4°C and one month at room temperature (37°C)—which supports global distribution without stringent cold chain requirements[4][6][7][8].
