IMNN-102 is a DNA-based vaccine being developed by Imunon using its proprietary PlaCCine platform for the prevention of Lassa virus fever. The PlaCCine platform utilizes synthetic DNA plasmids encoding pathogen antigens, delivered via a non-viral system to induce an immune response against the target pathogen. IMNN-102 is currently in preclinical development as a prophylactic vaccine candidate specifically targeting Lassa virus, which causes Lassa fever, a severe viral hemorrhagic illness endemic in parts of West Africa[1][4][9].
