IMO-9200

**IMO-9200** is an orally delivered synthetic oligonucleotide-based antagonist targeting Toll-like receptors (TLRs) 7, 8, and 9. Developed initially by Idera Pharmaceuticals, it inhibits TLR-mediated immune responses, including production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-12, IP-10, IFN-α, IL-6, IL-1β, and MCP-1, as demonstrated in cell-based assays, mice, and non-human primates. Preclinical data showed efficacy in models of lupus (improving proteinuria, autoantibodies, and kidney inflammation) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), supporting its potential in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders where TLR overactivation drives pathology.[1][2][5][12]
