Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMP2794 is an orally bioavailable, highly selective proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) designed to degrade lysine acetyltransferase 6A (KAT6A). Developed by IMPACT Therapeutics using its proprietary targeted protein degradation (TPD) platform, IMP2794 exhibits over 1,000-fold selectivity for KAT6A over its homolog KAT6B, thereby minimizing the risk of hematopoietic toxicities associated with KAT6B inhibition. In preclinical studies, the candidate has demonstrated potent in vitro cytotoxicity against tumor cells and significant in vivo antitumor efficacy in both sensitive and insensitive breast cancer cell line-derived xenograft (CDX) models. It is being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer.
