Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Imprimis Less Drops is a compounded topical ophthalmic regimen developed by Imprimis Pharmaceuticals for the management of postoperative inflammation and the prevention of infection following cataract surgery. The regimen typically consists of two distinct compounded formulations: Pred-Moxi (a combination of the corticosteroid prednisolone and the fluoroquinolone antibiotic moxifloxacin) and Pred-Ketorolac (a combination of prednisolone and the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ketorolac). This "Less Drops" approach aims to simplify the postoperative medication schedule for patients compared to traditional multi-bottle regimens. It has been evaluated in Phase 4 clinical trials as a comparator to intravitreal "Dropless" injections.
