iMSC refers to "induced mesenchymal stem cells," which are derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). These cells are a type of advanced therapy medicinal product used in regenerative medicine and cell therapy. The process involves reprogramming somatic cells into iPSCs and then differentiating them into mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs), which possess immunomodulatory properties and the ability to promote tissue repair.
