IMT504

IMT504 is a non-CpG 24-mer oligodeoxynucleotide and a prototype of the PyNTTTTGT class of immunomodulatory oligonucleotides. It acts as an immunostimulant and B cell stimulant. IMT504 is being developed primarily as an adjuvant for vaccines (notably rabies) and as an immunotherapeutic agent for infectious diseases and sepsis. Preclinical studies have shown that it can enhance immune responses to vaccines, promote rapid antibody production, provide dose-sparing effects in rabies vaccination, and improve survival in animal models of severe bacterial infection. It also has tissue repair-inducing properties currently under investigation in early-phase clinical trials[1][4][5][6][7].
