Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Imunoinstant Multiplu is an oral solution containing polyclonal IgY antibodies (immunoglobulin Y) extracted from the egg yolks of hens immunized against a broad spectrum of human pathogens. Developed by the Romvac Company, it is designed to provide passive immunity by directly neutralizing bacteria, viruses, and fungi in the gastrointestinal tract and oropharyngeal cavity. The product is marketed as a food supplement intended to support the immune system against infections caused by over 18 different pathogens, including *Staphylococcus aureus*, *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, *Klebsiella pneumoniae*, *Escherichia coli*, and *Candida albicans*. By binding to specific surface antigens of these pathogens, the IgY antibodies prevent their adherence to host tissues and neutralize their pathogenic effects, offering a non-antibiotic approach to managing microbial imbalances and infections.
