Overview
Imupsora is a proprietary Ayurvedic formulation developed by Charak Pharma for the management of psoriasis, including chronic plaque psoriasis, palmoplantar psoriasis, scalp psoriasis, and guttate psoriasis. Available in oral (tablet) and topical (ointment and oil) forms, Imupsora combines several key herbal ingredients—such as *Fumaria officinalis*, *Tinospora cordifolia*, *Ocimum sanctum*, *Curcuma longa*, *Picrorhiza kurroa*, and *Rubia cordifolia*—that work synergistically to provide anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, keratolytic, and immunomodulatory effects. It helps regulate T-cell activity, reduce the excessive release of inflammatory cytokines, and normalize epithelial cell proliferation, thereby promoting the regression of psoriatic lesions and prolonging remission.
