Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMV101 is a preclinical in vivo CAR‑T cell therapy being developed by Immunofoco that uses a CD19‑targeted gene delivery system to transduce a patient’s own T cells inside the body, generating functional CD19‑directed CAR‑T cells without ex vivo manipulation.[11][14] In murine models, IMV101 has shown high specificity for T‑cell transduction, robust in vitro and in vivo anti‑tumor activity, expansion of in vivo–generated CAR‑T cells in peripheral blood, and a favorable safety profile, supporting its further development for B‑cell malignancies and potentially autoimmune diseases driven by pathogenic B cells.[11] This approach is intended to simplify CAR‑T manufacturing and broaden access by converting T cells into CAR‑T cells directly in patients.
