IMV102 is an experimental *in vivo* CAR-T cell therapy being developed by Suzhou Immunofoco Biotechnology for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Unlike traditional *ex vivo* CAR-T therapies that require complex manufacturing of a patient's cells outside the body, IMV102 utilizes a lentiviral vector delivery system to directly program T cells within the patient's body. The therapy is designed to deliver genetic instructions that enable T cells to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a protein highly expressed on the surface of malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma. Once expressed, these *in vivo* generated CAR-T cells recognize and eliminate BCMA-positive myeloma cells, potentially offering a more accessible and rapid treatment alternative to autologous cell therapies.
