IMX39

IMX39 is a preclinical bispecific enzyme candidate being developed by Imunexus Therapeutics in partnership with The Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. It is intended for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological diseases affecting the central nervous system (CNS). IMX39 is a surrogate of an earlier molecule, IMX39P, which showed significant efficacy in animal models, including the repair of nerve damage and restoration of mobility. The drug is designed to have a longer half-life and better selectivity for disease sites than its predecessor. Unlike standard MS treatments that primarily target inflammation, IMX39 is focused on neuroregeneration and halting disease progression.
