Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IN-006 refers to two distinct investigational drugs in current clinical development: 1. **Inhaled Regdanvimab (COVID-19):** IN-006 is a muco-trapping, inhaled formulation of regdanvimab—a fully human monoclonal antibody originally developed for intravenous use against COVID-19. The inhaled version is designed to deliver high concentrations of the antibody directly to the respiratory tract via nebulization, potentially allowing for self-administration at home and more effective targeting of respiratory infections. Its mechanism involves binding and neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 by targeting its spike protein, thereby preventing viral entry into host cells and facilitating clearance through natural mucus mechanisms[1][2][4][7]. Developed by Inhalon Biopharma in partnership with Celltrion. 2. **Bivalent RSV mRNA Vaccine (RSV):** Separately, "IN006" also refers to a bivalent mRNA vaccine candidate against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), developed by Innorna Co. Ltd. This vaccine encodes antigens from two RSV strains and is being evaluated for safety and immunogenicity in healthy adults[5][8].
