Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IN-B00010 is a biosimilar candidate of **pertuzumab** (brand name Perjeta), a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody developed by **HK inno.N** (formerly CJ HealthCare). It is specifically designed to target the extracellular dimerization domain (Subdomain II) of the **human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)**. By binding to this specific epitope, IN-B00010 prevents HER2 from forming heterodimers with other members of the HER family, including EGFR (HER1), HER3, and HER4. This inhibition disrupts downstream signaling pathways, such as the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathways, which are critical for the growth and survival of HER2-overexpressing cancer cells. Currently in **Phase 3** clinical trials, IN-B00010 is being developed for the treatment of HER2-positive **breast cancer**, typically as part of a combination regimen with trastuzumab and taxane-based chemotherapy.
